Olivier Valdenaire, Chief Executive Officer

He has worked several years as a scientist in the cardiovascular department of Hoffmann-La Roche in Basel, Switzerland before co-founding the Swiss biotech Axovan, where he served as CEO until its acquisition by Actelion in 2003. He was then involved in several other life sciences companies before joining the venture capital community in 2007. Dr. Olivier Valdenaire is Venture Partner at Endeavour Vision.

A trained biologist with a background in mathematics and physics, he graduated from the "Ecole des Mines de Paris" (non-specialised executive engineers) and obtained a PhD in Neurobiology from Paris XI University in 1994.
